The leather

Our leather is cut and assembled in the Marche, the region on Italy's Adriatic coast where some of Europe's most storied leather houses have their bags made. The same ateliers. The same trained hands. The same standards that take years of apprenticeship to earn. We chose the Marche over a marketing label because this is where the craft actually lives, not where the prestige is loudest.

The hardware

A bag fails at its hardware first. The zipper, the clasp, the ring where the strap meets the body. Ours is forged by a family-run foundry that supplies leading European maisons, the kind of component most brands quietly downgrade to protect their margins. We did not. The metal on a ZIPPERLY bag is the part we are proudest of, because it is the part you will never have to think about.

The construction

The work you cannot see is the work that lasts.

• Edges are skived thin and finished by hand so seams lie flat and clean.
